Launched in 2002, Trendstop is an online trends forecasting and consulting agency with a design studio. They are a company that research into and translate trend concepts into commercially successful products.

 

Their aim is to ensure that their clients’ products and campaigns are on trend for their customers. Founder of the company, Jaana Jätyri, has worked in the trends industry for over 20 years and is said to be a creative visionary. Born in Finland, Jaana moved to London when she was 19 years old, to study fashion at Central St Martins. Since the beginning, Jaana has been able to grow the company and now has clients that include Hugo Boss, H&M, ASOS and Ralph Lauren.

 

Trendstop offer up themselves as not only a trend forecaster but also as a consultant’s agency. They can offer their clients a range of creative services from creative direction and design development to strategic direction and on-trend communications.

 

 

In order to receive their expertise, an individual can sign up to one of three membership categories; Insider Membership, Expert Membership or Enhanced Membership. And Insider Membership enables customers to learn about the latest developments in retail, trade and fashion shows and includes access to their extensive trend galleries. This membership starts at £495 for a quarterly membership and gives the user a 12 month outlook on the latest trend.

 

This is however the cheapest membership they offer compared to their Enhanced Membership which is £2970 for a quarterly payment. For this price, Trendstop offer their customers everything in their Insider and Expert Memberships plus direct access to their team. The package also includes shortcuts, pdf report saving & downloadable artwork.

 

Trendstop also allow customers to experience a site tour in order to familiarise themselves with the trend website. Trendstop seem to take on a personal approach to trend forecasting when it comes to giving that information to their customers.
